Training/Employment Opportunities

Post-doctoral

If you have interest and expertise in neuroscience, neurogenetics, epilepsy animal models, and/or zebrafish models of disease, please contact us regarding post-doctoral (MD, PhD, or MD-PhD) positions in the lab.

In addition, we are occasionally able to offer fellowships in epilepsy genetics, which include clinical exposure to epilepsy genetics for MD-trained neurologists and epileptologists as well as human genetics research in epilepsy.

Undergraduate

We are occasionally able to host motivated undergraduate students who have completed basic coursework and training in molecular biology, for internships (sponsored by the undergraduate institution, for course credit) in our research laboratory or in clinical (human subjects) research.

To inquire about potential opportunities, please email PoduriLab@childrens.harvard.edu.

Funding

The Epilepsy Genetics Program at Boston Children’s Hospital was founded in 2011 with the aim of helping children and families with known or suspected genetic epilepsy syndromes. We are committed to providing expert clinical consultation, genetic evaluation and genetic counseling services, conducting groundbreaking scientific research at the local, regional and national level, and furthering education and outreach initiatives and advocating for ongoing quality improvement in the field. We are thankful for philanthropic contributions from our generous supporters. This generosity is critical to fueling our research which brings innovative treatments to our patients and their families.

If you would like more information on how to support our research, please contact Katie Minetti of the Boston Children’s Hospital Trust.
